Guys, just a quickie, if you use a colour filter, like a warm up fo example, and you shoot on Auto White Balance, will it counteract the filter??
Iv done a bit of experimenting and it seems so...
Anyway, i was just wondering if i was correct... i always set the white balance if i use a filter just in case..

Hmm, thought someone might have commented.. coloured lenses get corrected by auto white balance..
I think it depends tbh. Most digital camera don't deal with wb that well under artificial light on the Auto wb setting anyway. I wouldn't think daylight conditions would present any problems but under tungsten light I find setting the wb in degs kelvin gives the best results - or taking a custom wb shot.

Yes, the camera will try and 'correct' a physical filter placed infront of the lens.
