Lol I wish.
My favourite response to my wifes requests is..."What do you want me to do....****** a couple of 20's?".

Besides, I'm not made of money, I'm made of lard mostly. :D

How do you like yours Adrian, Since it got delivered this morning I have been learning the functions which are quite complexed compared to the 20D I had previously.

First impressions are its heavy.. It is very sturdy and feels good in your hands..The shutter has to heard to be believed (so quiet)

And the playback features knock the pants out of the 20D.

At the moment remembering the correct buttons to function certain elements of the camera is quite daunting.. :Ponders:

Lots more to learn.. :D

I've found getting used to the top button press combinations was the worst, and using the Select button rather than a Set button in the middle of the dial on my 10D is a pain, but it's worth every penny and you soon get used to the controls. Ergonomically it's great with everything in the right place. Mind, I can't believe you think the shutter is quiet - It's well known for scaring wildlife and much louder than the 10D! I really bought mine for the weatherproofing as I like to get out and about near the sea a lot and I occasionally go out on the local lifeboat. 2 shameless plugs for weatherproofing :)...

I'm just sick as a parrot.

I'm not speaking to anybody and I've thrown my dinky toy 350d in the bin.

This is my dream camera, I held one in Jessops for the first time last week.

I may never realise my dream so I may turn to crime.

No need mate, The 350d is a hell of a good camera by any standards. :thumb:

Having spent most of the afternoon reading the manual I ventured into the garden for a couple of test shots. Just put my 100mm macro lens on to give it a try.

Nothing special just test shots in poor light with quite a breeze blowing.

Don't tell the Mrs, but I have a secret hidey place in the shed where I deposit loose change. I've got £9.36 already.

I'm chuffed for you BB!
I suppose I could always pick a second hand one up in a couple of years when new models come out....but then I'll want the new model DOH!

No problem mate, Trouble is with such a narrow DOF its a hard task.. :whistling

And believe it or not they were hand held, Not the normal practice when doing macro..

Grabbed this since my last post..

Tis true, the DoF is a big prob with macro work. Excellent work though for them being handheld!
