I took this pic of my daughter (with the dreaded kit lens no less) and I quite like it.

My wife hates it, says its all swing.

who is right...good pic or bad.

I really appreciate your comments.

I think she may be right.... it's all subjective anyway ..... but try a crop off the bottom, so the top is making a square, I think it improves it. (If that makes sense).

The expression is very very sweet, but i have to agree with the wife on this one. Maybe some creative cropping would do the trick :)

Now if you could have got the feet in shot and made the most advantage of the distortion, it would have been great, but it's certainly a keeper anyway. ;)

I removed my C.T. Photography Sig from my pics until I can think of somthing else.

Ct the reason she is laughing is because she is busy trampellin all over my chest with her feet....I was laid spread eagle right under her. She had been crying a few mins earlier wanting to get out of the swing.

LOL. If you get the chance again try getting the swing moving and catching the high spots on both the front and back swings. It's all been done a gazillion times before, but it works well and gives you a lot more room.
