I've currently got a pair of Elinchrom FX400's for studio work and I want to add another one or two strobe units to experiment with background and kicker lights. I don't want to get another new pair of lights so I was thinking of trying to pick up something like the Elinchrom 500's off eBay. Will these work OK with the FX's? Presumably I can slave them set at 1/4 or 1/2 power if necessary?
