the 1st looks alittle soft to me..
the second im not to keen on the mono

you may be able to sharpen the first up in ps..

Sorry mate, I agree with Dave.

I just can't understand the second, it's just a profile, with nothing going on. I presume it's a monochrome conversion?? It's slightly overexposed, and flat. You really need to go into levels, and try and get a bit more depth into it - try a bit of red filter as well.

Keep trying, it's early days yet, and it takes a bit of bottle when you're new, to offer up pics for comments!!
