Football players

Tried my hand at football photography today with one of the local Sunday League matches. I have never done this kind of shoot before. I used my 75-300mm to make sure that I could cover the action from most of the pitch. There were times that the action moved on too quick for me to keep up, I was zoomed in at one end of the pitch and someone booted the ball over towards where I was standing so as I was zooming out I missed lots of action.

I may try again another weekend :thinking: and see what I can get. Anyway, here are a few from today.

I've been covering our sunday league team for three years. I've found you have to anticipate what's going to happen, it helps to have the ball in the picture and to move around the pitch.
