...about using some pictures from my website.
In a nutshell the BBC up in Glasgow are making a TV series on teenagers being abused/bullied in their day to day life and showing their low points, through to them telling us the story of how they rebuilt their lives and re-discovered self confidence.
Anyhow, they wish to use some images from my website relating to a girl who went onto be a model in car magazines following her being abused for her physical appearance.
The images will appear on Scottish TV I presumse, but still, would be great knowing they have been used for a good cause :)
excellent - who's more chuffed - you or her?

They haven't had the hi-res images yet, and if they use the ones off my site they have copyright all over them...
I've not yet actualy given permission to use them only that I will enter negotiations as to payment etc and then I will send them the images they wish to use ;)
Thanks Cobra :)
Good good :D The BBC are fun when it comes to usage :)
Thats excellent mate  , Congratulations :)
I do hope you can squeeze payment out of them though! BBC are notoriously tight.......as a journalist friend I used to work with at the BBC used to say "They wouldnt give a door a bang"

Well Done.
Check the small print - very, very carefully....
Carl.
Yeah, make sure they pay, or give you a free TV license!
Well done - but do make sure you get paid. If the pics are for broadcast then 72dpi should be fine at 720 x 576 px or if the prog is widescreen (16:9 format) 1024 x 576 pixels at 72 ppi

Cheers to everyone for the replies.
Funny you should mention that Marcel, she didn't hesitate to mention twice that the 'she had very little or no budget left' lol - now I see why ;)
Awaiting her reply email, the original bounced back for some reason after failing to deliver after 2 hours...so will await her response and take it from there ;)
Will keep you posted
Congrats!
Hope you do manage to get a cheque for this.
