Hi,

Have been thinking of getting some pictures framed and like the idea of using a more modern acrylic frame.

However, it seems really expensive for 2 pieces of plastic and 4 bolts.

Has anybody else done their own or no of a reasonably priced dealer.

an example of what I was thinking and cost can be found here (http://www.artcan.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=310)

Cheers lee

Cheers OF, that seems just the job  , and have just found another company that sells poster supports £1.30 each.

So for an A3 sized frame with supports it would cost around £11.50 plus P&P, which is a saving of £218 on the company which will do it for you.

How do they justify it.

I think they print the pictures and set them into the acrylic rather than just sandwiching them between two pieces and with 6 pictures and the main one quite large they probably get away with charging a fortune.

Think you might be right..........found another company doing what I was aiming to do for far less at just over £30
