Well done praxis, your turn
Full pic
Praxis is more than welcome to take this, ( I don't have any macro shots to share anyway :D)
But for your info
The jesse's are the leather bits going through the eyelets in the false aylmeri ( anklets if you like) the rope leash is the white bit going through the eye of the swivel ( the silver bit) which was actually shown in the picture :p
birdy961
16-09-2007, 19:20
Thanks Cobra, I didn't know that :bonk:, you are more than welcome to take it:D, doesn't have to be a macro.

part of a tripod?
Sorry but no.
Clue: I didn't have any interesting Macro shots to hand so this is more of a cropped image of something larger than a tripod or easel. The part you are looking at would be around the width of a football.
Part of some metal support construction?
It does indeed support something...but not all the time.
I thought the last clue would have helped a bit but obviously not. It has to do with transport.
Ladybird
17-09-2007, 21:27
Hmmm? I was going to say Pylon? .... no,.... support on a road bridge?
A service lift for tall, usually glass, buildings. They type you see used for cleaning the windows?
No, no and no. :nono:
I am not too sure how many more clues I can give that won't give it away too easily
Would it help if I said it was a form of transport? ;)
Is it one of supporting legs of a mobile crane?
The electrical connection arm of a trolley bus or tram?
Wrong again, sorry. There are two of them and they might on occasion get wet (not due to rain).
Ajophotog
17-09-2007, 22:36
Is it a clay pigeon launcher? or the rubber support for a boat on a trailer?
Beginning to wish I had posted something different now!
The object might come down with a splash. Then again it might not. ;)
Part of a "big dipper" ride? or "water splash" ride?
Good guess but I am afraid you are still wrong.
OK, BIG clue...what you can see is attached to wheels that can retract.
Part of a sea plane's landing gear ?
Congratulations Cobra!
