Hi,

Snapped this little fellow this morning....he's about 12mm head to tail. Anybody got an idea who he is ?....he's not recognisable in my bug tome.

Thanks guys....I have a picture of a hoverfly in my book but it doesn't show or make the snout obvious.

We have about 270 species of hoverfly in the GB Bob so don't feel too bad about not finding it in your book.:)
