Cheeky Charlie

Hi All

I am new to photograpy and I am really enjoying it so far so I would like to share this with you. It's a snap of my friends little boy Charlie. It was processed in B&W because the combination of red and green on the t-shirt did nothing for me. I have also removed quite a lot of grass from the bottom of the shot with PS.

Nice shot! My only criticism would be that the shoes seem pin sharp but the face is a bit soft.

My thoughts exactly and I did try in PS to sharpen the face but I am only a beginner with PS so I didn't quite pull it off.

Feel free ( Anybody ) to try and sharpen the face and advise me on what you did because I am interested to learn

Next time just check your focusing point. Your camera has just focused on the closest thing to you. Also you can't sharpen something thats out of focus in this way. Apart from that its a great shot. Well seen, just need to check where the camera is focusing next time.
