and it started off really badly, my 24-70 F2.8 decided that Err01 was the order of the day and nothing I did would change it. So shifted onto the 28-105 F3.5-4.5 which wasn't ideal under the circumstances.

The ceremony was under a canopy, the sun disappeared and the shutter speed dropped like a stone just as the rings were going on. 1/6 at ISO800 and F4 :(

I know there's a bit of movement :bang:

Out from under the canopy things got a bit better

Maybe the last one could be saved by a crop.
Usually, when things go wrong, they keep getting worse for a while.

Couldn't be a better advert for a flashgun. At least you percevered (sp) with it and got some nice shots in the end.

been there , done that , unfortunately. we have had a flash die in the middle of a wedding. fortunately we have one on both cameras , so a swift swap occured.
i will have to dig out some of our poo shots. if she hasnt deleted them already.
like the groom with foodpoisoning vomiting over the hedge five minutes before the ceremony. and looking VERY green through most of it.
