Shot this for a customer earlier. Not ideal as wanted to shoot on tarmac but ended up on grass. Used the sun with no fill and used a star 8 filter to enhance the chrome on the machine. Hopefully will get more work due to this. Lovely car too.

Shot looking down from a small set of steps with the 40D, Sigma 10 -20mm, around F10. Hopefully going to shoot this on road with some off camera flash.

I like #4 best
not sure about the filter though
reminds me of toothpaste adverts!
what was it like without?

and the last one - a bit of shopping to clean up the nearest tyre

Sorry but they dont really do it for me... Nice car but the Star filter is OTT, if that is the effect the client wanted wouldnt it have been safer to PS it in afterwards.

Also id have personally opted for a CPL filter to show the cars colour and interior better.

The high angle shots are great and I like the starfilter, not too overdone. The low angle shot suffers from wobbly reflection in the door and wing showing that some body reairs have been done. Old/classic cars nearly always show this. These can be cloned out to straighten the reflection, a lot easier than isopon! I took the liberty of doing a quick example, hope you don't mind.
