I'm hoping to head to Prescott hillclimb on Sunday. Having never been before are there any special considerations for this track, i.e. best positions, lens choice etc.
Thanks
After my near death experiance at Harewood hillclimb id recommend being on the inside apex of any corner, preferably about 200m away from the actually track, some of the hillclimb/trackday novices are a little unpredictable. And if you see a yellow Caterham 7 run, runaway... its evil.
As for lens choice, i found the 70-200f2.8IS to work very well, but then again I was too damn close to the track, when i go again I will be mainly using the 300f2.8IS from a more distant vantage point.

Excellant - cheers. I have a 70-200 F4 and the 100-400 so I should be well covered (and safe :D )

Can I just say this is an excellant place, very easy to get close for shots, a wide variety of cars and corners. A really enjoyable afternoon.
I loved this bloke.

Oh and anyone an idea of how I did this.
I was panning, the driver is in focus, the background is blurred but so is the car?
