Anyone got any recommendations for camera insurance? Or indeed, does anyone know of companies to avoid?

It's for approx £2k worth of gear, and would need cover in the vehicle but not overseas or pro cover.

As mentioned have a word with your home insurance provider....

I've got upto £5k cover of equipment, with the max single article limit of £2.5k i think.

Maximum they cover in the car (boot) is upto £1500 limit.....

Alternatively, Aaduki and towergate are highly rated

Try Photoguard (http://www.photoguard.co.uk). I was more than happy with the qoute and policy I recieved. They do a variety of cover levels to suit.
