IMO, only the first has any potential, if the background was blurred (either slower shutter or larger aperture ~f1.8-f2.8) and maybe desaturate everything but the train to make it pop... otherwise, they do little for me...
Also, just noticed your from Dublin, ill be there for a few days in a couple of weeks, staying in a hotel at Temple Bar, do you know of any good photo-ops near there?
Wow where to start for photo ops around Temple Bar, that is of course dependant on whether you get away from the music and crack of Temple bar itself.
Really the whole Temple bar area is a photo op, but here are a few to get you going:
Try Meeting House square you can get great shots there as there are a lot of street performers around that area.
You then have the archway that leads to the quays nice narrow laneway packed with shops leading up to it B/W will look nice on those shots I'm sure.
Through the archway and onto the keys is the halpenny bridge can get some nice shots there.
After that is a lot of CF cards as imho the whole of Dublin is a photo op especially at night as they have lots of light around the bridges on the Liffey.
The above by the way were only really meant as snapshots I have not done any processing on them.
Enjoy the trip.
Ps: make sure you catch the music session in the Oliver Saint John Gogarty. Late night, late bar, great beer, and mighty craic. Now where did I put the job application for the tourist board!
Glad I read this post cos I will be going to Dublin for the first time for a couple of days in 4 weeks time. I'll be staying in the Temple Bar area.
