For some reason this shot appeals to me - another from the Tamworth sessions :D

Doesnt do a great deal for me :( too much sky for me maybe. I think a landscape crop with footballers at the bottom and the last of the sunset at the top would work better for me.

Thanks for the comments again JL - I might play with that along those lines!

Much better John. better saturation in the sky, and less of it!!
Altogether a much better picure.

Yep, I prefer the second one as well, the sky looks more dramatic. Lovely strip of colour in the clouds. :)

Or a tower with the Evil Eye, Tamworth deserve nothing less ;)
Jimmy, It appears we both go through these threads at the same time, because I keep seeing your name just above or below my posts! stalker! ;)
Sorry John, not one of your best, or shoudl I say not one of my favourites....the second is certainly a huge improvement, but not sure there is a need for HDR treatment here, probably helped bring the sky out a little.

Well thanks guys - a few comments on these last few I've posted (this and the castle) are tempting me to try life without HDR for a while.
I'm often asked if I HDR out of 'habit' and I wonder if there is a glimmer of truth in that,
Given that I respect the majority of views on this forum (I'm here to learn, after all :D) I shall put away the HDR tool box and try life without for a while!
