The Eye

This image was taken just as a random shot of a girl my class, a snapshot up close. Which i then altered the hue and saturation using photoshop and created an interesting texture on the face, i then cropped the eye as it lookd very effective on its own i thought. And this photo is the end image. (Click image to enlarge)

The large image looks as though she has been the victim of a battering..............sorry but I don't find this overprocessing to my liking. :(

I would say that it's certainly moody - reminds of horror flick 'The Grudge'.

It has a certain appeal, but I'd have liked to perhaps see just a touch more light in the eye socket to bring more shape and definition in. Personal opinion though!
