More of the same from me, but thought I'd share anyway.

1: Not sure which of the next two I prefer, the first is more menacing I think, but I think 2 is better?

Excellent stuff  I prefer the first one, as you say it's more menacing with the second car just peering over the horizon. Great photos though, like the mono one as well - suits the subject :)

I know nothing about these type of shots but #1, #2, & #4 do it for me.
Love the front on take, and the way inwhich the colour of the sand really sets the cars off.
Really love the comp of #4 ... yup, I think #4 is my fave

Personally i like them mate, if i was being picky then the escort pan may have bennifitied from a slightly slower shutter, But very nice images.

My personal observation on the subject of taking interesting shots of cars is that the front needs to be in shot - either head or or at an angle that that still has it in view.

Anything outside of this needs something else to make it interesting (eg exhaust flames, sparks from grounding, interesting background items).

My theory was tested by reviewing the WTC programme from this weekend, see what they have used...

Anyway, some excellent shots there my friend - I think #3 is my fave though - the colours of the car highlighted by the Paddock Hill gravel trap make for a gorgeous picture.

Couldn't say which of #1 or #2 I like best.... #1 is good because of the "peeping" car, #2 might be better because of the size of the foreground subject... but its swings and roundabouts really.

Its always hard to judge a pile of people's photos, if you gave me just one shot and said "what do you think" then its much easier than half a dozen, because individually they are all good shots, just one will always be "best". And this time its #3 for me!

What is good is the variation of the pictures, I have certainly picked up ideas for my next outing of motorsport.

I like the front on pictures and number 2 is my fav as I can see the heat blur as well (or it looks like it).
