nikon f801

Hi ... I have just bought a second-hand Nikon F801 for my student son and would like some guidance as to what lenses would be compatible. He also has a Nikon D50 so anything which works with both would be great. He is on a budget being a student, so would like to just buy maybe a couple of lenses which would cover him for most jobs.

Any of the non dx coded nikon lenses will work.

Or anything not coded DC or DI from sigma and tamron respectively.

Anything that is designed for digital will most likely produce vignetting on the f801.
