just got me a Canon 40D and then the problems start . . .
Loaded the software from the disk - did not seem to go on Automatic and then decided to open picture window in japaneeze as soon as i put a card in the reader. Next used my normal method of copying to a file and tried to open a RAW file. CS2 did not want to know it.
Back to the drawing board and had a look ant the Canon Pro. OK if you have a week to spare to convert images!
Looked on the Adobe RAW site to find that plugins only for CS3 for D40 and not CS2. At last did a quick conversion to .dng and will now have to try and delete all the Canon programmes that seem to think I can read Japaneeze!
Quick look at a couple of images at iso 1600 and a lot less noisy than the old 350D.
To make matters worse - going to get it - picked up a puncture on the way across Norfolk and managed to ruin a tyre-- not cheap on a Volvo D5!
