I went along to the new circuit Snettbox for the first time to see if the photo positions have improved. The circuit has hugely improved views and is a really good track for spectating, but there were not many new photo angles for the public side of the track.

Here are some shots.

1. Good spectating vistas

bit of t cut and polish on 4, will be as good as new.

Been around it a few times as a passenger on a lotus club track event and is a very very nice circuit now.......

a lovely set, no 5 for me, would be even better if it had more space to the right.

I used the Nikon VRII 70-200mm, with some shots on a 1.7 teleconvertor. This is adequate for the new track layout, except for the 'Agostini' raised viewing point, where a 500mm or above would be better.

The Clio's had more opportunity to overtake and show their capabilities on this new circuit than the old one with fewer bends. Watching the Sunday race on ITV, I think that is true for the other classes as well.

Nice set, have to agree on the new track. This is the second time I've been now and whilst I found more angles at this event than I did for British GT it's still lacking some properly epic angles. I guess people will find them as they explore more!

I also like #3, nice racing/scenic shot :)

I thought the new layout was definitely an improvement, still not as nice to shoot as say Oulton or Brands but it has quite a few angles available. Also I thought the spectator viewing was really really good, even had some big screens up too on Sunday :)

I heard about the roll yesterday, sounded pretty dramatic. Think a couple of togs got some photos, not sure if they'll be published though.
