On the day I had been for the sunrise shots we went back after breakfast for a walk along the path that runs down the right hand side as seen from the hotel end.

Guess the yellow stuff is planted by the hotel but it does add a bit of colour

This broken tree stump was glowing bright orange in the sun on the way out. kicked myself for waiting until the return to take a picture...in the shade.

Great shots Robert, I still maintain that the best view I have ever had out of a window was sitting with a beer looking out from the lakeview lounge at Chateau Louise. Closely followed by the view from our room at the Banff springs hotel.....Ian
