This was shot looking across Boobies Bay towards it's sister beach of Constantine (they become one at low tide and 2 at high).

It was shot using a D50 with a ND2 grad filter kit from Cokin

I wanted a rather simplstic shot without too much clutter or activity going on in the image.

I hope you like

Boobies Bay

Did you see any??? :lol::lol:

Very peaceful pic, lovely clear sky and good composition, but it seems a tad dark on the left side or maybe just my monitor.;)

Unfortunately not, it was a bit cold Donna lol ;)

It is quite darker on the left, I think it got slightly underexposed due to the sun on my right giving quite a strong exposure in contrast...

Darker on the left is how it should be with the sun off to the right! Looks fine to me.

Like the way the rock line swings and leads you to the direction the light is coming from. Somehow seems incomplete without the setting sun in shot but I can see why it isn't.

Yup, I think its OK being darker on the left too.

I would possibly try raising the levels on the left hand side of the shot to bring out a little more detail...just to see how it looked, but apart from that, it's fine :)

The subject could be a little stronger, but it's a nice one, IMO.

Slapo, I think the subject would appear stronger if I followed Marcel's instructions as to lightening the left hand side, thanks guys ;)
