How did I search for the prices of completed listings on Ebay. I'm looking at some primes but keep losing out becasue I'm not around at the auction end. I've found a couple of buy it now lots but don't know how their prices compare to the completed auction items.

Do a search as usual, to get a list of live auctions.
Check the box marked 'Completed listings' in the panel on the left.
Check other boxes as desired, e.g. UK only, New only, etc.
Hit the 'Show Items' button at the bottom of the panel on the left.

Note that you need to be logged in to eBay for this to work.

you could use a program called ezsniper - type it into google

It bids in the last second of the auction for you, meaning that noonecan outbid you

hope that helps,

That asuming that your bid is high enough to beat the proxy bidding system.

What prime are you looking for? I'm selling a Canon 35mm f/2 on eBay at the minute here:- (and it's buy it now so if you like it just buy it and it's yours)

Apparently I can't post in the for sale forum until I've posted 100 times - I better get typing!!!
