Can you post the original version? I keep thinking this might work better in colour...especially if the rock has interesting shades.

hmmm - not sure what you're telling us with these Paul.....?

For interesting rock formations, you need to work in different light - the sun was too high in the sky for the shadows to assist the scene and consequently your choice of framing was probably wrong - was the rock the interesting point, or would a landscape frame have been better to show us more water and reflection?

I'm afraid the B&W therefore doesn't work as there is little to capture the imagination and the colour version seems over saturated. Sorry - thats a very negative C&C reply but i hope some of it helps

I prefer the colour version, but I'm afraid Jonnyreb is right.....better luck next time.

Need to see more of the fjord in colour but I prefer the black and white version myself.
