Photoshop 5 + sharp border

I've tried searchin the net, looking at forum posts and using the help on the program, but I cannot get a nice clean black border.

When I use the marquee tool, then 'select', 'modify', 'border', select 64 (maximum) pixels, then 'edit', 'fill', trying all of the options I can only seem to get a border that fades, not a nice clean sharp edged one.

Anyone got a way to do it properly? :thinking: :bang:

i have some black borders pm me and i can email some across if ** intrested.

I go to ... image ... canvas size ... Then adjust to the border size you want.

Don't forget to have the cavas extension colour set to black.
