lol, me too. Food and drink is something we should all be able to take a stab at though. Should be interesting.

I have a couple of ideas shamelessly stolen from, er...I mean inspired by, a few photo. books at home.
walking around sainsburys staring at the posters everywhere.....

Entries are now online and available for viewing here. (http://www.thephotographyforums.com/gallery/album81)
Voting closes in 1 week at 9pm Sunday.
Voting for your own entry is not allowed (so thats 3 out of 4 you have to choose)
All entrants must vote (all 5 of you)
Votes to be submitted to me via PM (All 5 of them), clearly showing the three pictures (out of the 5) chosen and the order in which placed.
<strike>I will find it very difficult to choose three this time</strike>.
Don't just vote straight away, think about the shots first, and give it due consideration and waste your vote willy nilly.
PS. There's only 5 shots to choose from, so it shouldn't take too long ;)
Marcel.
PPS. If anyone knows how many entrants there are could they let me know? I keep losing count.
(Keep discussion to this thread now, rather than clog up the news thread).
Well there may only be 5 entries, but they're all bloody good! :icon_cool
TBH,
this one kind of passed me by!
I was busy working and trying desperately to think of a different entry from all the still life stuff (sorry guys/gals, yours are excellent BTW) and the competition ended!
Lordy, I've even managed to forget about my own 'assignment.....' thingy.
I'm gonna get some fish oil capsules I think. Either that or lay off the bruichladdicch!
I haven't had any free time since the Chester Zoo weekend.
I've been busy most weekends getting trench foot.
Hopefully I'll have the job boxed off over the next week or so, and will be able to get involved again.
Good luck to the five that entered.
I have emailed my vote off but I seem to be having problems with my email at the mo......so if you have not received it could you pm me.
Thanks.
Ken.

Ken you are supposed to send in the votes by PM to Marcel...so if you are having email issues it shouldn't really matter. ;)
I am sure that Marcel will confirm to everyone that he has recieved their votes?

Yup all PM's recieved are replied to with standard replies, mixed in with the occasional witty banter and my trademark seductive charm :)

Well the results are in. The bribes delivered.
The van loads of votes have been delivered, sorted, and counted by the team.
Verified by an independant adjudicator, and we now cross to Manchester, live for the result.
It's 4am, it's raining outside, and it's a momentou occasion in photography history.....
The results are, in no particular order, except chronologically from the winner first :
Joint 1st : DJW (http://www.thephotographyforums.com/gallery/album81/tpfcomp_round07_02) - 11 Votes

My diet says thanks to those who DIDNT enter anything fattening :D
Marcel
Congratulation to all that entered and well done to the two that have taken equal first place :thumb:

Thats the votes but how many points, as that might give a clear winner?
Thanks to everyone who voted, (particularly for my entry;)) and thanks to all the entrants - I thought all the entries were sheer class! :thumb:
Steve, I suspect Bod has published points rather than voters anyway, and having adjudicated the last round with many more entries, I can tell you there was nowhere near 39 people who voted, in fact there were only two or three people other than actual entrants who submitted votes.
I'm quite happy though, to pass the doubtful privilege of choosing the next round to DJW. In the event that he doesn't wish to choose a subject then I do have something in mind but it might not meet with a universal round of applause.
Thanks to those who voted for moi :) .
OK CT, here we go then "PUBLIC HIGHWAY" ......we all have one nearby so no excuses for no shots. No taking them from Motorway bridges though ;)
Good choice - I think! :D
Just to satisfy everyone's curiosity, I'd have chosen 'People'
Hey, as long as we have some people on the highway it's sorted :woot:
