Keep trying and have fun!
Nice pics but was not too sure how to comment as they did not jump at me :D
Sharpening seems to be a bit harsh on the details in the shots above, I'd try either setting sharpening to none at all or trying out RAW :)
In no. 1, I'd say there's too much of space that's empty - decorations and textures aren't visible very well. What's probably the most important part, I can't really tell what's the big sculpted something - might be a person or just a bunch of symbols of some kind.
There's a bit of excess space in no. 2 near the bottom, I think more of the sky would put more emphasis on the cross.
No. 3 I like most, but the angle isn't very dramatic, although this one is pretty difficult to compose if you want to keep the man's expression clearly visible while getting a good angle to show the drilling.

Cheers for the tips.
Sorry for sounding like an a**hole there, they're actually all ok, but not what they could be if you tried more variations IMO (which is what should have written there in the first place).
All mostly composition issues from my point of view.
Keep making photos by any means, though!
I apologise if I offended you in any way. I didn't mean to.

Nah, wasn't offended, or being sarcastic. I meant thanks. I was out trying to take things from different angles. I was lying on the ground, back to front for the first 2, and on my belly for No 3. Sorry if I made you feel as though you sounded like an a**hole, didn't mean to.
