I think in the first one, the main subject shouldnt be right in the centre of the frame. Maybe more to the left so you could fit in more of the water?

But I do like the second one, looks like an old painting :) I am sure some people will disagree with me, but I know what I like, and thats it :)

First one is lovely, but the second is like someone else processed it. Dunno, its odd. Not a fan. The sky has a grey band in it. Its like blue.... grey (?) and then sunset. The building looks really weird.
