This one was taken in the lakes, and i kinda like it :) (hope it shows up right this time).

Not many shots were rescued from this trip to be honest as i made a hash of exposures left and right.

The original is in the gallery and is 1900 pixels wide.

Kicking myself a little still for wasting the chance to get some of the most dramatic Panoramas ever...
Will be going back with a Tokina 12-24 (when i get it) and a Tripod sometime real soon.

Any comments/criticism more than welcome.

Cheers for looking.

nice shot.

If it was me I would've probably cropped a fair bit off the shadow areas as it would've emphasised the light in the middle a little more.

metering in these situations is always tricky! I still haven't mastered it yet!

I already cropped quite a lot from the bottom. Might crop another little strip off the bottom and see how it goes :D

Thanks for the comments.

Bed time for me :D

An honest man! We've all been there and I'm sure we still are! ;)

It's a really nice shot. I agree with cropping a little more from the bottom, and I'd possibly think about cloning out that bit of tree on the far left which doesn't add much to the shot and is a little distracting?

Ahhh yeah the tree does detract from the shot. Ill crop and clone when i get home....hmm im a poet and i didnt know it hehe

Cheers guys.
