Some photos from the beech today (Kite Surfers)

Hey all, done a (very) quick photo set of some shots I got today while watchin mates kite surf, including this lot of me mate getting yanked out the sea and deposited on the beech with a slam ! :eek: :D.

Difficult to get, the light was soooooo low, most are ISO 800, I tried to maintain high shutter speeds where possible, taken using a 70-200 Canon L F/4 non-IS

Gosh, that looks cold!

I like the story board set, but would bring it down to a triptyic (sp?) if it was me.

I like the shots in the water very much. Nice to see a different kind of sport on here.

Some nice sharp images there but too large for the forum rules. If you edit them to 800 pixels max then please feel free to change the tags back to img from url to show the pictures in the thread again.

kite surfing or power kiting is great fun, have a 5.5m kite myself - which is tiny compared to that one, i'd guess about 12m for it?
love the second one, personal opinion but i wonder how it would have looked with same DOF but with focus on the kite, leaving your mate slightly oof ??

kiting is great fun, ive only got a wee small 3.3m kite for buggying but its great fun :)
