I would prefer a bit tighter in number 2? But apart from that I like them, great job :thumbs:

I always shoot rugby with the 300mm although I keep meaning to give the 70-200 a try.......thanks for the comment :)
200 probably not long enough but give it a go anyhow. Can't wait for my 170-500 or 50-500. Next week I hope. I think I've enough brownie points...:lol::lol:

Hi, as said, a bit loose on the crop. Tip, if you can, carry two lens. 70-200 & a 300 or 400 (if you have one).
gwocni, is that the Sigma lens ? They are'nt much use for this sort of shooting btw. Too slow for sports.

I'm not a fan of the game, but these are the best sport shots I can remember seeing in a very long time. Nice one. Really like the background in the first one.
