OK. YOU LOOK FOR THE NEW CAMERA ON EBAY. you see the one you want and its listed as a uk seller. but very cheap.one in oldham , one in glasgow.
you think" i dont want to buy from hong kong and risk getting stung with customs duties etc"
so you look at the feedback, or the smallprint, and find out theyre shipping from hong kong, not the uk .:nono:
how do they get away with that?a £2000 camera for £1750 looks good, but would you fancy paying the extra duty?

and the fact your body wont have a valid canon UK warranty on it which suprise suprise canon wont honour on bodys bought outside the uk, unlike with lenses whihc have a worldwide warranty

The thing I dislike most about eBay is their refusal to keep sellers in line, the more you sell the more they let you get away with. The above is one example, another is ridiculous postage charges like the CF card 'buy it now' for 99p, with postage of £18.99
