These photos are my first try with the High Key background last Sunday ,any comments appreciated.Phil

# 1 is a super shot...she looks really relaxed and happy.

The lack of eye contact with us, in #2 spoils it for me, sorry.

#3 is ok, but I'd try to do something about the colour of her teeth...they look yellow on my screen.

The shadows under the little girls eyes in the last two are grabbing my attention, and whilst I understand they are "her" and not due to lighting, I'd try to lighten then a bit, if you can.


Good first attempt..........just the thought of studio works scares me stiff!!!

Hey Phil, good set of images there... me loves high-key:):)

The best of the 'high-key's for me there is def #3.

I like the others too, especially #1 which is a super pose - but to be honest I wouldn't really consider the others high-key to be honest. The only one that is approaching high-key for me is #3, I may be wrong, but I don't think high-key simply means - shot against a white background.
