metz flashes any good

Hi everyone, could someone give me an opion on the Metz 44 AF 4iN flash, as ive been offered one. should i go for this flash or go for a Nikon flash. :thinking: I Love Nikon

Metz are brill, but I know nothing about this one - though I do have a 45 CT1 I haven't used in years (really big hammerhead type)

I've got the 54MZ4 and it's ace, none of the dreaded sleepy eye that you can get with other flashes.

Metz make some of the biggest baddest flashes you can get so I doubt it's a bad gun.

The only thing I'd say is that the Nikon flashgun will be more dedicated to a Nikon camera, so it just comes down to which you're happiest using.
