Dissappointed that being the open round, we only had 40 entries, but I suppose some people might have had priorities elsewhere, what with Xmas and all that.

Definitely going to get every round done in 2012 :)

Right - that should be the leaderboard fixed - not that it seems to matter much as only Marie's spotted that it was nearly a month out of date...

Perhaps this might be a good time to ask if it's worth bothering with publishing this information month on month - I'll need to do the background stuff, to know who's actually going to win the overall - but if nobody's looking at it from one month to the next, it seems a waste of time my posting it until the end of year ??

Because of the way the spreadsheet is created, it gets done every month come what may - it's just the final stage of actually updating my "menu" that I sometimes forget. Which is probably going to be more likely next year, as I doubt I'm going to be able to enter every month in 2012 - the pressure of trying to compete whilst totally out of my depth talent-wise has left me completely fried - photographically speaking - this year!

Ah ok. I havn't checked the positions for last 2 months, been ill so just been trying to concentrate on getting my pics done. I really want to enter every month this year, so I can improve my score from this year. But I must admit to being stumped by some of the themes, I couldn't sleep last night for a while, so I was trying to come up with ideas, nothing as yet :bonk:

As you probably remember Marie - I usually post a direct link in either the final throes of the voting thread or early doors in the results thread, just to the month and ytd result file, then eventually get around to changing the "menu" when I'm back at my main machine in the office - sometimes within 5-10 minutes, and occasionally a month or so later... So - I'm pretty sure that the "chart toppers" get their information at that point, I was just wondering if anyone else bothered - or indeed - if it actually put people off from entering... "how the he-double hockey sticks can I compete with one hundred and ninety-something votes" :shrug:

Likewise, I look at it every month (there's nothing quite like that sinking feeling every month, as I fall further and further down the rankings! :love:)

Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS for all the hard work you've put in over this comp...I always check the info but as per someone else...as it's voluntary on your behalf I didn't want to nudge you . I know it's gonna be downhill this month for me but the last few months I've actually taken screen dumps of the YTD board...just to remind myslef that I've made top 20....lord knows how but I'm immensley pleased about it :D

Seriously folks, I'm happy to do it, but I've always said, if anyone spots ANY problems with it, be it I've mis-spelled your forum name, screwed up your scores for some reason, or i've either forgotten to update the menu, or linked something wrong, drop me a PM - it's not nagging me, its not pestering me, at worst it's saving me a bunch of work the following month - so I'm happy to hear from you.
