While staying in manitoba this was the view of pembina valley I woke up too.

Now that I like. It looks HDR'd, but (if it is,) its not overcooked at all and imo is spot on. Lovely composition and the sky is wonderfull also! Spot on chief! :)

I really like this too, the muted colours in the landscape compliment the building beautifully. :)

I did actually have it in B&W but the a lot of the valley detail was lost so I brought the colours back only a bit muted.

This shot was taken about 7.30am shortly after sunrise standing on the back balcony of the house I was staying at. The kitchen window looked out onto it.

I love it just as it is.

I love the slightly muted saturation....just spot on IMO.
Care to share your postprocessing?

Photomatix HDR from 3 raw files, exported to photoshop as a 16bit tiff.

Then undersaturated it a bit mostly the yellows, darkened the sky.

I then used a contrast mask to darken the valley itself as haze had left it a little bit washed out.

Then to top it off I used a gradient to darken the sky. ( I really should get myself a graduating ND)
