Wouldn' think it will be much cop, its the non APO version of 70-300mm which in my experience wasn't up to much. It wasn't sharp anywhere near 300mm, hunted a lot during focusing and was loud with it so everyone around you new it. Probs best to stay away IMO :)

£153 plus £20 P+P plus 20% ,they say no collection fees so total is: £207 or so. Lens' can be picked up for about £75 and £95 or so, basically paying about £40 for the extras, I think I'd stick to UK buying if it were me.

Agreed, I have that sigma lens [70-300 non APO], was initially not too bad but started dying before I went away, sounding noisier mechanically and getting noticeably softer at the 300mm end, so bashing it on rocks probably didnt help when I slipped, but it was already fading fast at 18mths old and is now virtually dead. As already mentioned, better buying UK, or at least somewhere like onestop-digital, that are at least reputable albeit imports.

The 70-300 APO is much better lens and can be picked up second hand for around £70 in good condition. I would think you are much better off doing that...

It's Jessops so it could be :D

But it should really be about £60 I think you have found the price for the F2.8 not the F2.8/F4

I'd be weary of that store, they add on 20% after you've won the Auction, so the prices are misleading. And as I think someone said its the non APO version, I looked at that kit for my canon which at first seemed a bargain, but I now think otherwise.
