Went to the lake today to try and get some sunset shots. This is what I came away with...

Thanks. I have to be honest though, the lake is only about 2 minutes walk away from the house so not much of a trip

#1 is nice, but I think it would be better with a wider angle; I'd like to more of the sky, and more of the reflections of the reeds. Also I think your horizon is slightly crooked.

I really like #2 but I think the colours could be a bit cleaner and more saturated, more like in #1. There's a little bit of foliage in the top left that needs to go. And I'm not sure about the horizon again.

#3 doesn't work for me.

#4 has lovely composition but the colours are a bit dull. Cleaner and more saturated colours like #1 would help.

What lake is this? Reading is just down the road from me and it looks like a nice location.

The lake is in Woodley, called Southlake, TBH it's not the best location in the world, but I enjoy trying to get the best out of it.
