View Full Version : Brighton's West Pier
As you can see, it's lost some of the glory it once had:

Crikey, it has hasn't it. Liking both these shots, though I am not sure the sun on the first is helping, I might be tempted to try a crop and see what it looks like without that left hand upright. The second one would seem a little bit dark initially, but looking at it, I prefer it that way, it suits the subject
Here's a variation on the theme:

The second from the first set is my favourite, interesting composition and nice processing.
The last picture I think has maybe a bit too much empty space on the right and the pier legs being off vertical is a bit distracting (easy fix in PS though). :)

:agree: #2 for me as well.
Perhaps if you had taken the shot from the other side of the pier it might have helped ?
Thanks for your input. Dunno why I didn't shoot from the other side either. Musta been havin a brain fart! :-)
what happened to the pier. I don't recall this trajedy. I remember getting ****ed in a bar at the end of the pier once. Or are there 2 piers, and I was that ****ed I didn't notice?
