I am new to this too:thinking: Managed to add eventually
I like it  but maybe its a little over saturated, hard to know without being there at the time though.

Very nice photo- but keep an eye the colour saturation.

Thanks for your reply:) I am new to processing & may have gone overboard so I have added the original. What would be your best advice to improve it ? Others are welcome to edit if you so wish. By the way the sky was awseome that evening.
I use Photoshop Elements 6 (trial version)

I like the original better- it's easy to get an unatural look with sunsets & the saturation/contrast adjustments. I have also come across situations where the real sunset colours were so vivid that any photo straight out-of-camera looks false! This photo:

is straight out of camera and the sky looks a bit too red for me!

:agree: I prefer the original..... looks more natural to me.

Here's my take on it - more of a composition change, and a border than anything...

:agree:with diddydave, i don't think it needed much beyond maybe a crop/sharpen:thumbs:

I like that, DiddyDave....and well done to you Misty, for bagging that sky!
Hi, Well captured, love the colours, that's one beautiful sky.
Top notch DD - just a few small tweaks makes all the difference. PP will also come with time, so don't beat yourself up over it !
Photoshop can make any image work with the right tweaks. This is why you should never scrap any photos that don't look too great at all.
I love it! Postcard worthy, I'm sure ;)

Thanks DD for a job well done:clap: What did you do with the composition to achieve this result? Regards, Misty.:)
Thanks All for your replies:thumbs: I Took many pics of the sunset that evening & will post some more soon (without too much PP, as I have learned) Regards, Misty:)
