well thanks for commenting anyway lol....how does one make a touristy location look interesting? I thought by selecting some aspects might make it more so, ah well

Nice pics. #7 is my fave.

Brings back memories. I visited this place about 20 years ago.

Hi! I quite like them actually, didn't make it to herculaneum - went to Pompeii & Vesuvius instead :)

I think for me number 5 and 7, although the rest are nice too!

One thing I might be tempted to do with number 7 is possibly crop it a bit tighter on the lhs to make it equal to the rhs :) Just a thought :)

altyfc glad you like that one as it's my fave too, I did some photoshop work on it to emphasise the age and feel of the stonework.......Matt we did Pompei first and then stopped here on the way back, I liked it better than Pompei as it had an air of cultured elegance that wasn't as obvious in Pompei. It was not as opulent but the artwork was more interesting and it had a real seaside city feel. I see what you mean about the crop! #5 is a three headed snake that resides in the bowels of the gymnasium, which looked like it had been a very large building.
