A few weeks back I stayed in Seahouses in Northumberland. Here are some shots taken from the immediate area. (The castle that features in a number of the pictures is Bamburgh Castle.)

The band of clouds give a nice burst of orange colour to the photo and again on the reflection in the water at the bottom.

Thanks for the feedback... and yes, I like how those colours reflect. Pity I didn't notice it with the naked eye at the time as otherwise I'd have tried a few more shots from that angle.

Nice shots of a lovely area :)

Living not far away(just outside of newcastle), its good to see some shots of the NE, makes us feel all warm and wanted;)

It is beautiful up there, isn't it? I actually come from Cumbria so we have plenty of beauty here, too, but I still enjoy my visits to your part of the world.
