My first thread, so be gentle with me... actually, no, be honest ;)

Just thought I'd share with you a few of my portrait shots to see what you think. Opinions all appreciated, Thanks

welcome to the forum

ok, my opinion....

1 & 2 - unfortunately the focus is on her green shirt, not her face, otherwise they could have been quite dramatic.

3 - love it, nice angle, nice conversion

4 & 5 - hmmm.... they aren't working for me, a bit....errr... dull, sorry.

6 - great idea, a tad soft, but the conversion is perhaps a bit off, would probably suit a straight forward contrasty B&W conversion rather than the sepia tones.

Great efforts though, keep them coming ;)

Thanks Lady Lens... 3 & 6 are my favourites too, just wish I took a few more of the bloke in 6

The first two are not even in focus.

Third better, but lose the bottles :)

Fourth too much space above his head.

Fifth is just a holiday snap.

Sixth is prob the best, but I dont like the look on that guys face :D

3 and 4 for me

Although, I would have had 3 in mono and lost the bottles as mentioned b4.

The rest do nothing for me, sorry !
