Hi everyone,

Today is my second day with the camera. I decided to go and take some daylight pictures! I headed down to a place which is used by dog walkers - it's full of trees. I took close to 300 pictures  Here are some of the best ones:

I really want a 50-200mm lens! There were so many chances for me to get some good shots of squirrels, but I couldn't reach them with the kit lens. *Sad Face* This happened with birds too.

Please feel free to offer some constructive criticism.

PS: Whoops, I've just ran out of bandwidth on Flickr. Guess that's what happens when you upload 2.5-4MB images. Photobucket here I come.

Regards,
Steven

Nice shots. The composition of a few could be improved and a small number are over-exposed.

A good days work if you ask me :)

Thanks :)

It was my first shoot in daylight, so I had a chance to play around with the aperture! I managed to find some rocks to place the camera on when the shutter speed was too slow to hand hold.

Improvisation, man. You're already on your way to the top :D
