Hello!

After reading sideshowbob's thread, it suddenly dawned on me that I never did the "hello i'm a n00b" bit either, so here I am, 200 posts later. :nut:

30 years old, married but recently separated (mid-october), in between jobs and houses, so three really big pieces of crap all hit the proverbial fan at once. :Ponders:

Been into photography progressively for about the last six years - the more I do it the more I WANT to do it. Currently have a Fuji S5100 but I shall have an Eos 5D one day. :thumb:

Currently trying to get an appointment with BusinessLink for some advice about setting up, startup loans/grants etc. Trying to get into wedding videography/photography as I've done a few in the past and it'd be a belting job. Loved it.

So, that's me. This is the part where you all say "hello and welcome". Say it like you don't know me. :naughty: :naughty:

Err...hello I think although you do seem slightly familiar :Ponders:

Sorry to hear about all the bad stuff that you are going through, I myself had a bad spell earlier this year but now everything is rosey and couldn't be better. The changes that came due to the bad stuff earlier have all been for the better. So all I am saying is don't dwell to long on the bad times and look to the good that the oppotunity and change can bring.

Keep yourself busy and all will be well. :)

Welcome to the forums ;)

Must have missed you first time round...prob cos I wasn't a member then :)

As to your business plan - 26 years ago I went to Barclays with a business plan and the manager refused me. I told him He could think what he liked I knew it would work and I was going to do it without him. At that point he changed his mind and gave me the startup loan.

If you believe in your idea be positive and they should take more notice of you.
...

A bit OT... you made me look back to see when I first said hello. About 6 weeks ago.

Feels like I've always been here:)

Anyhow I think the member count was something like 312 or maybe 320 so it seems to be picking up some momentum
