Hello everyone,

I have just joined the forum to help improve my photographic skills, now that Pondgirl & I have settled down in Southern Catalunya.

We moved here at the beginning of the year and there are some excellent opportunities for Landscape, Wildlife and Architectural photography amongst other styles.

At the moment I would say all the photo's I am taking are "Amateur" with a bit of thought of the basic composition. However as I have recently upgraded from SLR style Fuji's to a Nikon D80, I am keen to put it to better use. I also want to improve my basic photo editing skills.

Thanks for the many welcomes.

I have been reading Ken Rockwell's (http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d80/users-guide/index.htm)pages and have made a few adjustments to the settings on my D80, so lets hope that when I get to post some piccies, they wil do me, the camera and the forum proud.

Chuckurbarla,

I found this forum thanks to Mezza, a fellow UKGSer (http://www.ukgser.com) (BMW GS bike forum) after posting in their photography page, so I'm well up for a bit of motorsport photography.

Now I must start writing my Xmas wish list.;) PB

Pondboy, I had an R1100RT that I used as a courier bike for a couple of years, excellent machine for the job. Always fancied a GS, a bit too big for where I live now unfortunately.
