Took a walk down the canal today to see what I could find.

He was a fast little mover and I think he could see his reflection in the lens and was hoping he found a mate lol.

I'm no expert but I like all of the shots, particularly the first three. No 1 and 2 and 3 are my favourites, clear, focused and well taken. How did you manage to take something this small whilst walking along the canal?

Thanks. #3 and #4 were at the canal but I was getting really frustated at the number of shots it was taking to get it right. The light was poor and it was windy so I bit the bullet and brought the little fella home for a couple of shots.

No1 is very hard to see any detail due to it being against the stick.
2,3 and 4 are nice shots, 5 and 6 nice colour and 7 is a nice shot but imo would be better a tad lighter.
All in all nice shots.

I can see what you mean about #1. I think with #6 I was trying to make it more about the colour yellow / black. I could possibly make it a little lighter like #5. Thanks for the input.:)

Just edited my post.
Sorry I meant 7 not 6, although 6 could be a tad lighter aswell :)

I agree with Scraggs, could be a little lighter, the little bug is a plant bug, not sure which one though. Overall a nice set of shots.

Thanks :)

I was only joking about it being perfect. I have had a play with the levels on #7 today and also tidied up the left hand side .

Still getting used to this macro work so thanks for the nice comments.

On another note i was stood at the bus stop today and there was about 7 ladybirds. Black in colour and orange triangles not spots on them. "where was my camera" doh.
