It’s only a few miles to Bury so today we had quick trip out today for the British Youth Club Championships for downriver racing at the on the River Irwell at Burrs activity centre.

I've not gone through all my images yet, just picked one out a random.

Great shot of the young boy in the purple canoe :clap:that is poster material.

If I'd of known I'd of met you!!!!

I've been wanting to take photos of the kayakers that go on a Sunday morning near there but as it's raining like mad today and as sunday is normally my mountain bike riding day, I always miss it!!!

Will have to try to find these things out in future!!!

Nice work. I prefer the ones with the entire paddle going across the frame. Almost a prerequisite for this type of sports work.

Some of the pics were shot at 200mm.
So as a guess :shrug: he used a EF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM.

Am I right? :D
